LOCKSIDE LOUNGE :: LADI6:: 26/09/08

There are now only 20 tickets left for this intimate show by Ladi6 so if you want to come, you better hurry as there will be no door sales on the night!

Hailed as the first lady of NZ hip hop, Ladi6 started her musical career in Christchurch as part of the all-girl hip-hop group Sheelahroc, and then went on to helm Verse 2. In the meantime she has provided vocals for some of NZ’s finest talent, including Shapeshifter, Scribe, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Solaa and 50 Hz.

The first single off her debut album is the sublime “Walk Right Up”, whose killer video was produced by her cousin Oscar Knightley of Brotown fame and can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKuUMPGwhuM.

Tickets are £5 in advance from Ticketweb (08700 600 100) – quick link http://tinyurl.com/5e4hnn.

THE FEELERS :: WIN TICKETS TO 2ND LONDON SHOW

The first Feeler’s show of their Best of 1998-2008 tour has now sold out, and apparently the second one is selling very well, so we feel very lucky that we have managed to blag 2 pairs of tickets to the show on Wednesday 10th September at the Shepherd’s Bush Walkabout.

As it is so near the show, the first 2 people to email us at kiaora@spacific.net will win the tickets – we will let you know straight away if you have won. Otherwise you can buy tickets from www.sanza.co.uk or pay more on the door.
