BIG CHILL BAR :: HUMMEL :: 02/11/05

Our November session will feature a live performance of quirky downbeat electronica by Hummel, well known for his Black Seeds’ remix and his live shows with both Rhian Sheehan and Cloudboy. Supporting him on the decks will be Clare B and the Crazy Baldhead.

From: 7pm til 12am
On: Dray Walk, just off Brick Lane, London E1 6QL
Nearest tubes: Liverpool Street or Aldgate East

Shapeshifter finally make their London debut. Their last album, Riddim Wise, has gone gold back home and after playing a string of sold out shows across Australia and New Zealand this year, these guys have to be seen (and heard) to be believed. They play fully live – no computers, no sequencers, no click tracks, just pure raw energy unleashed on stage. (If you haven’t heard of them, then a quick visit to should prove illuminating)

Supporting them will be special guest MC Tali, previewing new material destined for her forthcoming album and on DJ duty will be OG (Central Records) and Kaps (Fabel).

Tickets are £10+b/f in advance from Ticketweb (08700 600 100) –

From: 8pm til 2am (Onstage at 9.30pm)
At: Neighbourhood, 12 Acklam Road, London W10 5QZ
Nearest tubes: Westbourne Park or Ladbroke Grove
