LOCKSIDE LOUNGE :: JAYSON NORRIS + THE THIN MEN :: 08/12/07
To celebrate Christmas, and amazingly enough, the 100th show that Spacific has hosted, we are most happy to present two of our favourite London based live acts.
First up will be The Thin Men, playing a stripped back semi acoustic set. Born out of the ashes of El Hula, and fronted by Blair Jollands (described by The Guardian as the southern hemisphere’s Scott-Walker-with-a-twist-of-Jim-Morrison), The Thin Men take the best of contemporary and retro and add touches of indie to the melodic twang of country! Our headliner is Jayson Norris – NZ’s answer to Jack Johnson, perhaps! Currently working on his second album with a prime selection of guest contributors, Jayson has had a very busy year, including supporting Dave Dobbyn on his European tour this June. Check him out at www.jaysonnorris.com.
