NEIGHBOURHOOD :: FAT FREDDY’S DROP :: 26/05/04

Spacific celebrates the new year with a new monthly at a new club, Neighbourhood in Ladbroke Grove. From June onwards, we will be showcasing the hottest bands, singers, rappers and DJs from Aotearoa/New Zealand on the last Thursday of every month.
To kick off the season, Wellington’s Pacific soul sensations, Fat Freddy’s Drop, will be playing their only London headline show this Spring on Wednesday 26th May. The band will go on stage at 10pm and hopefully will get off in time to let Vee and Charlie Kartel spin a few tunes (although we have told them they can play for as long as they like so …..).
Tickets are £7.50 in advance or £10 on the door.
Advance tickets can be bought from Ticketweb (08700 600 100) ~ http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=uk&query=detail&event=93476
Doors swing open at 8pm and slam shut at 2.30am.
Neighbourhood is at 12 Acklam Road, London W10 5QZ ~ the nearest tubes are Ladbroke Grove or Westbourne Park and it’s website is www.neighbourhoodclub.net.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
We intend to send an email like this one on the 1st Monday of every month (or thereabouts), with information about forthcoming events of note (and a cocktail recipe or two!).
We have your email address in our database as either you (a) have subscribed to our mailing list or (b) have purchased tickets to either our events at Fabric or the Nesian Mystik shows we organised or came to our Waitangi Day party.
If for any reason at all you would not like to receive any more communications from us, please reply with “remove” in the subject line.
We promise not to divulge or give your contact details to any other promoters or companies, and hope to keep our mailouts to the absolute minimum. We will only email you mid month if radical changes occur or something spectacular comes up.

WEBSITE UPDATE
We are finally updating our website, after a winter of serious neglect. Come May 1st, there will be an all singing, all dancing new site featuring information on not just Spacific events but all the various nights going on in London, the rest of England and Europe. We will also publish photos and features on New Zealand bands, record labels, DJs, artists, designers and anything else of note.
All of this will take a lot of work and time, and we would love any help we can get. If you would like to be involved or find out more, please email us at kiaora@spacific.net.
