BIG CHILL BAR :: OG:: 07/09/05
The scion of one of New Zealand’s most musical families (dad John a famous country singer, brother Dredford the drummer with Shapeshifter), OG makes and plays a heady mix of downbeat, dancehall and drum’n’bass. He will be joined by one or two of the MCs from his Eskimo Squad hip hop crew. Also DJing will be Mikey Ray.

KOKO :: FAT FREDDYS DROP :: 12/09/05 + 13/09/05
Freddy’s tour has been going down a treat so far, with their set at The Big Chill Festival voted one of the highlights of the event, and sold out shows from Brighton to Berlin. The 13th has now sold out, but there are still some tickets left for the 12th. DJing before and after will be German legends Jazzanova as well as Wellington’s finest, Tubbs.
Doors: 7pm til 1am. The band will go onstage around 9.30pm.

We are very honoured to be hosting a rare DJ set by Mark de Clive Lowe in October. His latest album, Tides Arising, has been critically acclaimed around the globe and his FreeSoul Sessions at the Notting Hill Arts Club and the Jazz Café have seen impromptu live sets by some of the stars of the nu-jazz and broken beat music scene. COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH :: PASSIONFRUIT CAIPIROSKA
Ingredients: 50ml 42 Below Passionfruit, 15ml gomme syrup, 1 fresh lime, 1 fresh passionfruit
Glass: Tumbler
Method: Muddle lime and sugar. Add passionfruit flesh. Add crushed ice. Add passionfruit vodka. Shake or stir well and serve.
